Since 2016, I’ve wandered across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, searching for a sense of belonging.
Over 40 countries later, I found it where I least expected — in Taiwan.
It wasn’t just the food, the temples, the weather or the warmth of its people.

It was Kaohsiung — a quiet lookout over the city.
Taiwan stayed with me long after I left.
TaiwanThreads grew from the realisation that Europe was not where I saw myself settling — and the pull of Taiwan only deepened.
